The 2nd annual Brighten the Night Wine Tasting and Live Auction, sponsored by ENT Associates of Texas, was held on September 19, 2013 at Noah’s Event Center in Fairview. The event raised over $40,000 to fund the Transportation and Sibling Programs. 150 Carson’s Crusaders Foundation supporters gathered to enjoy a Spanish-themed evening filled with music, Spanish and South American wines, tapas, and a high-spirited live auction.
Upon arrival, guests were serenaded by guitarist Justin Cash as they enjoyed cocktails.
Guests enjoyed posing for photos with their friends and loved ones in the photo booth courtesy of BoothBooth.
Emcee Brian Prescott, of Simply Music DJ & Lighting, welcomed guests, and Kimberly Ricahrdson, President of Carson’s Crusaders Foundation, shared an update on the progress the Foundation made during 2013.
Renowned wine guru, David Pennachetti, led the tasting portion of the evening which included a variety of Spanish and South American wines paired with delicious Andalucían tapas.
Upon completion of the tasting, guests were served beautiful chocolate cake truffles from Sweet Art Bakery in McKinney.
The inspiring and touching “Be the Spark” video created by Jeremy West Video (which you can view by clicking here) opened the auction portion of the evening. This video includes the stories of two families who received services from Carson’s Crusaders Foundation during 2013.
Emcee Brian Prescott led a spirited and entertaining live auction.
